Jesse J. Elliot now writes about what she has loved so much to read—the Old West—except her stories always have a strong female protagonist. She has published four short stories in Frontier Tales Magazine, and three of these will be published in The Best of Frontier Tales, Volumes 5, 6 & 7. Another short story, “Lost in Time,” was published in the A Mail-Order Christmas Bride anthology, December 2015, Prairie Rose Publications.  In her previous life she taught K-6, community college, and educational methods at the university. In her free time, she reads, travels, C/W dances, and visits her family ranch in New Mexico.
