Merlaine Hemstraat is the author of Peacocks among the Tamarind Trees including short stories. Since childhood, she has fostered her dream of becoming a writer. She has several new novels cited for publication in 2017-2018. As a world traveler, currently she spends her time in Toronto, Canada.
