Samantha Eliot has long dreamed of devoting her life to music and song. But there’s a problem. She can’t speak, let alone sing. So when Patrick Harrold, the local vocal teacher and the man of her dreams, hires her to play the piano for his collection of off-kilter vocal students, she jumps at the chance.

As the new piano teacher, Samantha learns more about the students, Patrick, and the problems that they face, which gives her the courage to confront her own problems and fears. Can she find a way to rectify the troubles around her even as she learns to live with her own?
